LAVODRAMA AND PROKIC RETURN TO AVILÉS THIS SUMMER THROUGH ASIS SPORT SPAIN
- Asis Sport Spain will return to the land of Asturias this summer to train young athletes and coaches with the celebration of a Skills Training Camp and Clinic in the lovely city of Avilés, which will have basketball as its main axis through the hands of the ACB League great Anicet Lavodrama.
- The event will take place from the 24th to the 29th of July in the in the sports facilities “Complejo Deportivo El Quirinal” and aimed at the improvement and continuous forming with the added value of the psycho-cognitive methodology which is part of the Asis Sport method.
Málaga, 22nd of April 2017.- Faithful to their educational commitment through sports, Anicet Lavodrama and ASIS SPORT SPAIN will return to the land of Asturias this summer to conduct the basketball Skills Training Clinic which will again count on Avilés as its base for a week. The event will be directed by Lavodrama himself and shall complete the staff, for a consecutive second year, the Slovenian specialist Dejan Prokic as elite coach.
The applied work from Asis Sport’s method in which the psychological element for the participant is a key component, is conducted in small restricted groups with personalized attention to details, all geared at the continuous formation and development of the players and athletes, as well as for the coaches who are willing to apply to the Clinic and further their learning process. The program that will be developed is based on overall global skills improvement, shooting mechanics, and back to the basket together with face to the basket inside post skills.
The former ACB League power forward/center (OAR Ferrol, CB Valladolid, Joventut) and Olympian (Central African Rep. Seoul 1988) Anicet Lavodrama, will train the participants alongside Balkan coach Dejan Prokic, the renowned international expert in skills training specialist and high level coach (KK Takovo in Serbia, Unión Olimpia of Slovenia, BC Kiev and coordinator of the Academy of Zaza Pachulia – Golden State Warriors , NBA). It is therefore an excellent level program and a unique opportunity that cannot be bypassed while looking to evolve efficiently as athletes and basketball players since the Asis Sport model teaches exclusive tools to polish skills together with the benefits of cognitive excellence.
This clinic and camp will go from the 24th until the 29th of July, it complements the one that the city of Vilagarcía de Arousa will welcome in the wonderful land of Galicia and will be an exclamation point in the Asis Sport Grand Sports Tour 2017 to be accomplish this summer in the northern peninsula.
The Schedule of the 2017 Basketball Skills Clinic in Avilés will be from Monday to Friday in morning sessions of two and half hours and afernoon tow hours sessions, while the last closing day, Saturday, will go from 10:00AM ending at 12:30 noon. The daily work will take place at the sports complex “Complejo Deportivo avilesino El Quirinal” (C/ Juan XXIII, nº 40).
The application prices are of 290€ per player 13 to 22 years of age – starting at 3 players of a same club 195€/player- and 165€ for coaches, including a reduction to 90€ per coach from the 3rd coach of the same club.
